Concrete beads are not water- or impact-resistant. Extreme heat and prolonged exposure to sunlight may affect their durability. All jewels are produced once and are thus one-of-a-kind. Contrary to popular assumption, concrete jewelry is very light and fragile. Its surface and integrity are susceptible to hard blows. Avoid hitting or banging against hard surfaces.  Avoid prolonged contact with water. A few drops may not damage the surface, but take off your jewels prior to showering, getting into pools or the sea. If you wish to clean your jewel, use a damp towel or a very soft brush. Concrete is porous, so any friction can cause damage.  Concrete may darken over time - the result of direct interaction with your skin. This is natural wearing. Be gentle with the linking elements of jewels - clasps, links, wires and chains. Avoid pulling on them, as it may cause breaks.
